Hyderabad: A 25-year-old man died of a suspected heart attack while playing badminton at a stadium in Nagole on Sunday night.
The deceased, identified as Rakesh, was the son of former Thallada deputy sarpanch Gundla Venkateshwarlu from Khammam district. He had been living in Nagole and working with a private firm in Hyderabad.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m. during a casual shuttle session at a local stadium. Witnesses said Rakesh suddenly collapsed on the court. Bystanders attempted CPR at the spot but were unable to revive him.
He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
