HYDERABAD: A shocking incident of sexual assault on a mentally unstable minor girl was reported in Mulugu Mandal on Thursday.
As per police reports, Pentamidi Swami (40), a resident of Bailampur village, allegedly assaulted a minor girl in the mandal. However, locals who noticed the crime intervened, apprehended the accused, and handed him over to the police after physically confronting him.
Following a complaint by the victim’s father, police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Further details reveal that the accused is married and has two sons and a daughter.
