Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police booked 51 foreign nationals after raiding an illegal birthday party at a Moinabad farmhouse on Thursday night.
Acting on a tip-off at around 10 p.m., Rajendranagar Zone Police and SOT Shamshabad officers entered SK Retreat in Bakaram Revenue Village. They found the group consuming liquor and playing loud music without permission. Officers seized 90 liquor bottles and loudspeakers from the spot.

The gathering included 14 men and 37 women from 11 countries. This comprised 37 from Uganda, three from Liberia, two from Nigeria, and others from Botswana, Kenya, Cameroon, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Ghana, and Malawi.
Police stated that the farmhouse owner had organised the event without seeking permission for the gathering, liquor, or music. Immigration officials arrived to check the legality of the foreigners’ stay in India. They also found that two women and one man had previously consumed ganja.
Six women and nine men produced valid documents and left the premises. The rest received restriction orders from the Bureau of Immigration and shifted to a holding centre. Authorities will take further legal action if they detect any violations. Police also registered a case against SK Retreat management for breaching excise laws and police permission norms.
