HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) uncovered key evidence in the ongoing investigation into the sheep distribution scam after conducting a late-night raid at the residence of suspended official Moyinuddin’s wife.
According to sources, ACB officers arrived at the Movie Towers apartment complex in Kokapet on Wednesday night and conducted searches at the official’s wife’s flat. The operation lasted until 2:30 AM.
Initial resistance was reported from Moyinuddin’s wife, who allegedly attempted to obstruct the raid. However, the officials proceeded after presenting a valid search warrant.
During the search, authorities reportedly identified significant financial transactions, including cash transfers to the woman’s bank account. Two vehicles were also seized from the premises and shifted to the ACB office for further examination.
These developments are expected to play a crucial role in building the case against the accused, as the ACB continues to track financial flows and property linked to the alleged embezzlement in the state-run livestock scheme.
