Hyderabad: BRS working president K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) welcomed the establishment of an IT Tower in Adilabad town, expressing hope that the Congress government would continue the previous administration’s focus on developing the technology ecosystem in Tier-2 towns.
In a post on X, KTR said taking IT beyond Hyderabad had been a key priority for the K. Chandrashekar Rao-led government. Similar IT hubs already operate in Nalgonda, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar, Khammam and Siddipet, and Adilabad has now joined that list.

Adilabad IT Tower to host SMEs, startups, and training programmes
KTR noted that these hubs were designed to provide plug-and-play facilities for small and medium IT companies, boost the startup ecosystem, and serve as skilling centres through Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK). He said the intent was to create local employment opportunities and strengthen regional IT capacity while reducing dependence on Hyderabad.
