Hyderabad: Police conducted a cordon and search operation in Veenavanka mandal of Karimnagar district on Saturday as part of crime control measures. Huzurabad ACP Madhavi supervised the checks carried out under the leadership of the Special Protection Force.

During the operation at Pothireddipalli village, police seized 22 tractors, 18 two-wheelers, and four goods vehicles for lacking proper documents. Officials warned that strict action would follow against anyone found transporting sand illegally without permission.
Awareness on drugs, cybercrime, and road safety
ACP Madhavi also highlighted the dangers of ganja and other narcotic substances. She said the police were educating locals about the ill effects of drug abuse. In addition, officers created awareness on cyber frauds and road safety to prevent crime and protect the public.
