Hyderabad: Three girl students from a government SC hostel in Nizamabad’s Kotagalli area went missing on Thursday, causing concern among hostel authorities and police. The missing students include two Class 10 students and one from Class 9.
According to reports, the girls wrote notes mentioning different destinations and conducted a “lucky draw” to decide where each would go. They left the hostel around 5 a.m. without informing staff.
Students missing Nizamabad: Police launch search
Hostel staff noticed their absence later and alerted the police. Officers reached the hostel and questioned the other students. They learned that the missing girls had told friends about the lucky draw plan before leaving.
Police have launched a search operation to trace the three students. Teams have been deployed in nearby areas based on the information from their notes and statements from fellow hostel residents.
