Hyderabad: The Pavitra Samarpana ritual took place on Saturday at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Jubilee Hills. It marked the second day of the annual Pavitrotsavam.
Priests performed special ceremonies throughout the day, following Vedic traditions. The Snapana Tirumanjanam was held from 10 AM to 11 AM, followed by Pavitra Samarpana between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. These rituals form a key part of the temple’s yearly purification process.

In the evening, priests led additional Vedic rites in the temple’s Yagashala. Many devotees attended and offered prayers with deep devotion.
Sri Venkateswara Reddy, President of the Local Advisory Committee, AEO Ramesh, Temple Inspector Niranjan Kumar, priests, and officials participated, highlighting the event’s spiritual and community importance.
