Hyderabad: BJP candidate Deepak Reddy on Tuesday filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. The filing was preceded by special pujas at the Vijayadurga Pochamma Temple in Venkatagiri Hailan Colony.
BJP State President N. Ramchander Rao and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy took part in the rituals, which marked the formal launch of the party’s campaign.
Deepak Reddy files nomination amid rally, drum performances
Following the temple visit, the BJP organised a large-scale nomination rally featuring traditional drum performances. A significant number of party workers and supporters participated, turning the event into a show of strength.
Speaking to the media after the rally, Ramchander Rao said the people of Jubilee Hills were looking for change. He claimed voters are now focused on development and see the BJP as a viable alternative.
