Hyderabad: A major road accident occurred near the Begumpet bus stop in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning when a heavy-load truck rammed into a Mahindra Thar SUV from behind, severely damaging the vehicle and overturning due to the force of the impact.
According to local eyewitnesses, the truck was heading from the Outer Ring Road side when it collided with the SUV that was travelling ahead. The rear section of the SUV was completely crushed in the collision. The truck overturned on the spot, indicating the severity of the crash.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving information and brought traffic under control. They shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. The exact number of occupants in the SUV at the time of the accident is yet to be confirmed.
A case has been registered, and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
