Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao visited a grieving Hyderabad family after the Saudi bus tragedy, which killed 45 Indians, including 18 members of one extended family. He met the relatives at Nasiruddin’s residence in Vidyanagar and offered support during their time of profound loss. Moreover, senior leaders Mahmood Ali and Talasani Srinivas Yadav accompanied him during the visit.
Family members struggled to come to terms with the accident. KTR sat with them, listened to their concerns and urged them to stay strong through the crisis. The scale of the loss, he said, was unimaginable, especially because so many members of a single family were involved. Additionally, he conveyed condolences on behalf of the party and assured complete assistance whenever required.

The Saudi bus tragedy shocked the city because 18 victims belonged to one family from Hyderabad. KTR noted the emotional impact of this loss and emphasised the need for sustained support. Furthermore, he promised financial, social and logistical help through the party.
During his meeting, KTR reviewed the family’s immediate challenges. Documentation, coordination with Saudi officials and identification procedures formed the core issues. He assured the family that BRS leaders would remain in close contact until all formalities concluded. Local leaders who joined him also expressed sympathy and pledged additional assistance.

The Saudi bus tragedy prompted BRS to send a support team to Saudi Arabia along with the victims’ relatives. This team would handle identification, documentation and repatriation procedures. Moreover, they would coordinate with Saudi authorities to ease the process for grieving families.
