Hyderabad: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials conducted surprise inspections at hostels in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and Narayanpet districts on Friday. They uncovered multiple irregularities during the checks.
The team inspected the Government Scheduled Castes Girls Hostel in Ramannapet village of Yadadri district. They also visited the Telangana Social Welfare Residential School and Junior College for Boys at Damargidda in Narayanpet.
ACB surprise checks hostels reveal multiple violations
Officials from legal metrology, sanitation, food safety, and audit departments assisted the ACB. They reviewed food quality and quantity, checked sanitation standards, verified student strength, and examined hostel records.
ACB will submit a detailed report to the state government. Officials said action would follow against those found responsible.
