Hyderabad, February 8: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted a raid on the residence of Puppala Srinivas, Deputy Commissioner of the Transport Department in Warangal, uncovering assets worth approximately Rs 4.04 crore. The assets are suspected to be disproportionate to his known sources of income.
ACB officials carried out searches at multiple locations linked to Srinivas, including his residence and other properties. During these operations, they found substantial wealth allegedly exceeding his legitimate earnings.
The ACB recovered multiple plots of land in prime areas, several residential properties, high-value jewellery, and significant cash reserves.
A case has been registered against Srinivas under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of his alleged illegal assets and to identify any undisclosed properties or investments.
