Hyderabad: Telangana districts Adilabad, Nalgonda, and Mancherial have won the Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari awards, sweeping all three top positions in the South India zone. Each district will receive ₹2 crore as part of the recognition.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy shared the news on Thursday, noting that the Central government hailed the districts as “Best Districts” for their achievements in water conservation and community participation.
The Chief Minister congratulated officials and residents, expressing hope that the recognition would inspire further efforts to strengthen sustainable water management across the state.
