AI cardiac camp launched for Telangana Secretariat staff

Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha launched an AI cardiac camp for Secretariat employees at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat’s third floor. The initiative was organised by the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat Association with support from Renova Hospitals. It aimed to provide preventive cardiac screening for staff across all cadres.

The camp was staffed by nearly 40 Renova Hospitals medical personnel who used advanced equipment to conduct BP, GRBS, ECG and 2D Echo tests. They also offered free consultations from cardiology and general medicine specialists. Secretariat employees and officers attended in large numbers, completed the cardiac assessments and received medical advice on managing heart health.

AI cardiac camp highlights staff participation

During the programme, the minister said employees needed to safeguard their health, especially as changing lifestyles continued to affect wellbeing. He noted that the government carried the responsibility of protecting the health of its workforce. Since the AI cardiac camp helped staff access essential screenings, he appreciated Renova Hospitals for offering the services at no cost.

Rajanarasimha also commended the Secretariat Association representatives for coordinating the camp. He stated that such initiatives encouraged early detection of heart conditions and improved access to guidance from qualified specialists. MP Balram Naik attended the camp, underwent all available tests and lauded the organisers for their professional arrangements.

AI cardiac camp organised with multisector support

The event drew participation from the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat Association leadership, including president Srigiri Srinivas Reddy, general secretary Prem and executive members. Renova Hospitals director T.V. Nagesh, cardiologists Dr Sohaib Ahmed and Dr Jawahar, COO Ravindranath, Dr Shivakumar and others joined the programme. AIPC State IT head Kumari Nitijnya Harkara and AIPC representative Raghavender Reddy were also present.

Officials said the collaboration between medical teams and the Secretariat Association ensured seamless testing and helped employees understand their cardiac function in detail. The minister encouraged staff to continue prioritising routine check-ups to reduce long-term health risks.
