AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan has strongly criticized Congress leaders for inviting opposition members to a recent Munnuru Kapu meeting. She also questioned their stance on the BC caste census.
HYDERABAD: AICC (All India Congress Committee) Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan has expressed serious displeasure over the actions of state Congress leaders. She was reportedly upset over opposition leaders being invited to a Munnuru Kapu meeting held at the residence of former MP V. Hanumantha Rao (VH).
According to party sources, Meenakshi Natarajan questioned the rationale behind inviting opposition leaders and allowing them to criticize the government at a meeting Congress should have led. She was also displeased with the state leaders’ response to the BC caste census, stating that they should have welcomed it instead of criticizing it.
Meanwhile, the Congress party has scheduled crucial meetings for the Medak and Malkajgiri parliamentary constituencies on Tuesday at Gandhi Bhavan. Telangana PCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud will preside over the meetings, with Medak’s session set for 2 PM and Malkajgiri’s at 5 PM.
AICC state in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan will be the chief guest at these meetings, where several key leaders are expected to participate. The attendees will include ministers from the parliamentary constituencies, in-charge ministers, MLCs, MLAs, DCC presidents, former candidates, and PCC office bearers. Additionally, chairpersons of affiliated organizations, corporation heads, former ministers, ex-MLAs, former MLCs, spokespersons, and senior leaders at both national and state levels are expected to be present.
