AIMIM corporator Mohammed Muzaffar Hussain dies of heart attack at 55

Hyderabad: AIMIM corporator Mohammed Muzaffar Hussain, who represented Santosh Nagar Division, passed away late Wednesday night after a sudden heart attack. He was 55.

Earlier in the day, Muzaffar Hussain had attended a meeting of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, appearing perfectly fine. But as the evening wore on, a sudden cardiac arrest claimed his life, leaving his family and supporters in shock.

Word of his death spread quickly. AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi personally called Muzaffar Hussain’s family to offer his condolences. Party floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi also expressed his deep sorrow to the grieving relatives.

A steady stream of AIMIM legislators, corporators, both past and present, and party workers arrived at Hussain’s home to pay their last respects and comfort his family.

His funeral prayers will be held Thursday at Masjid-e-Me’raj in Chanchalguda after the Zuhr prayer at 1:15 pm. The burial will take place at Sultan Daira cemetery nearby.
