AIMIM MLA visits Sarojini Devi Hospital after Diwali firecracker injuries

Hyderabad: Diwali celebrations in the city filled the night sky with colour and excitement as people of all ages burst crackers joyfully. However, the festivities also led to several injuries when fireworks exploded carelessly, leaving many with burns and eye irritation. As in previous years, the festival brought both cheer and distress for several families.

22 firecracker injuries treated at Sarojini Devi Hospital

Doctors at the Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital in Mehdipatnam treated 22 people for firecracker injuries during Diwali. Among them, 10 were children who suffered minor burns and eye irritation.
Hospital officials said they provided prompt medical attention to all patients. Resident Medical Officer Dr Ibrahim confirmed that none of them required surgery. He added that the hospital team remained on standby to treat any more patients arriving with injuries.

AIMIM MLA visits injured patients

AIMIM Nampally MLA Mohd Majid Hussain visited the Sarojini Devi Government Eye Hospital and interacted with doctors and patients who suffered eye injuries caused by firecrackers on the eve of Diwali. He enquired about their condition and appreciated the medical staff for their quick response and continuous service during the festival.
