AIMIM nominates Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan for MLC polls under local bodies quota

HYDERABAD: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has officially nominated Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi as its candidate for the upcoming Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections under the local bodies quota.

With the nomination deadline concluding today, political parties across the state have been finalising and announcing their candidates. As part of this process, AIMIM has selected Effendi, a prominent leader within the party, to contest the seat.

Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan previously served as an MLC and is known for his active role in civic and legislative matters concerning Hyderabad. His nomination comes amid heightened political activity in the state, with multiple parties vying for influence through the local bodies quota elections.
