Hyderabad: Four passengers were injured when a private bus collided with a lorry on Chenna Kotapalli Road in Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh on Friday.

The bus, travelling from Addanki to Hyderabad, was carrying around 40 passengers at the time of the crash. It hit a lorry loaded with iron, reportedly due to overspeeding. The impact caused minor injuries to four occupants.

There were no fatalities. Passengers said they were relieved that the situation did not turn more serious.

Local police reached the scene soon after the incident. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
