Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh has entered the record books with a new global milestone in yoga, Minister Nara Lokesh said on Saturday. The achievement was made during the International Yoga Day celebrations in Visakhapatnam, which saw the participation of 3,00,105 people.
The event has been acknowledged by Guinness World Records, which also released a statement recognising the record.
Lokesh credited the “Brand Vizag” platform for the success and expressed gratitude to Telugu Desam Party workers for their contribution. He also thanked government officials and all those involved in organising the large-scale event.
