Vizianagaram: In a shocking incident highlighting the erosion of human values in the modern age, a man in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district killed his own parents over a property dispute. The horrifying event took place in Nadipurikallalu village under the Posapatirega mandal.
According to reports, Appalnaidu and Jaya, residents of the village, had a daughter and a son named Rajashekar. Recently, as part of dividing their property, they had given about 30 cents of land each to both their son and daughter. However, Rajashekar was reportedly dissatisfied with the division and had been nursing a grudge against his parents for some time.
In a calculated act of brutality, Rajashekar decided to eliminate them. On Sunday, while Appalnaidu and Jaya were levelling their daughter’s portion of the land, Rajashekar rammed a tractor into them with extreme violence. Both parents died on the spot from severe injuries.
After committing the crime, Rajashekar fled the scene. Upon receiving information, police rushed to the site, registered a case, and launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused. The investigation is currently underway.
