Hyderabad: A wave of shock spread through Bala Nagar after a woman killed her twin children and ended her own life early morning. The deceased was identified as Sai Lakshmi (27), a resident of Padmanagar Phase-1 under the Balanagar Police Station limits.
According to the police, Sai Lakshmi lived with her husband, Anil Kumar. Around 4 a.m., she allegedly strangled her two-year-old twins — Chetan Karthikeya and Lasya Valli — and then jumped from the third floor of her house.

Police said preliminary findings suggest a domestic dispute between the couple led to the incident. Neighbours, startled by the commotion, alerted the police immediately.
Officers reached the spot and collected evidence. They shifted the bodies to a government hospital for post-mortem. The police registered a case and began an investigation to find the exact cause of the deaths.
Officials said they were questioning family members and neighbours to piece together the sequence of events.
