Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy received an invitation from former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Sunday to attend Alai Balai 2025, the annual cultural gathering held during Dussehra in Hyderabad.
Dattatreya met the Chief Minister at his Jubilee Hills residence and formally presented the invitation for the event, which will take place on October 3 at Nampally Exhibition Grounds. Revanth Reddy welcomed him warmly and honoured him with a shawl.
Speaking on the occasion, Dattatreya said Alai Balai reflects Telangana’s vibrant culture and traditions. He added that the event rises above politics, bringing together leaders from across party lines along with film personalities, officials, and social figures.
He recalled that the programme began in 2005 during the Telangana statehood movement, with the aim of uniting political leaders on a single platform in a spirit of cultural harmony.
