Hyderabad: Former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Friday urged Chief Ministers Revanth Reddy and N. Chandrababu Naidu to work in coordination for the progress of Telugu states. He made the appeal at the Alai Balai celebrations held at Nampally Exhibition Grounds under the leadership of his daughter Vijayalakshmi.
Dattatreya asked both leaders to avoid creating obstacles for each other on development issues. He advised them to resolve disputes through dialogue and build an environment of unity among Telugu people.
Leaders across states join Alai Balai celebrations
The veteran leader said Alai Balai should serve as a platform for togetherness beyond political divides. Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Telangana Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, former Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, former Governor Vidyasagar Rao, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, former Chief Justice N.V. Ramana, CPI leader K. Narayana, Professor Kodandaram, former MP V. Hanumantha Rao, and MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga attended.
The event drew leaders from both Telugu states, reflecting its cultural and social importance.
