Hyderabad: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay on Monday accused the BRS party and its leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) of involvement in what he called a “luxury car scam.”
Bandi Sanjay demands probe into alleged luxury car scam
In a post on X, Sanjay questioned KTR for using a Land Cruiser allegedly imported by Basarat Khan, an accused in the case. He asked whether the “car party” was running on illegally imported luxury vehicles.
The Union Minister said companies linked to K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family registered the cars. He asked if the buyers paid the full market price or under-invoiced the vehicles. He also questioned whether they made payments through benami names and whether the funds came from fake income or money laundering.
Sanjay alleged that KCR’s family gained directly from the scam. He demanded that enforcement agencies investigate immediately and bring the facts before the public.
