Vande Bharat Express Manchiryal: First premium train service for region
Train No. 20101/20102 will now halt at Manchiryal, marking the first Vande Bharat Express service for the town and its surrounding areas. The new stoppage will significantly reduce travel time for passengers heading to Nagpur and Secunderabad, offering a convenient day journey alternative.
The high-speed service also connects key stations en route, including Kazipet and Ramagundam in Telangana, and Balharshah, Sevagram, and Chandrapur in Maharashtra. With these connections, the route enhances rail access across regions while supporting local commuters.
Railway officials said the new halt at Manchiryal will improve connectivity and economic activity. It is expected to strengthen regional trade and inter-state travel, while also aiding local businesses and commuters with a premium travel experience.
Senior Railway officials and public representatives will attend the flag-off ceremony at Manchiryal on Sunday.
