Hyderabad: BJP national general secretary and Union minister Bandi Sanjay has accused both the BRS and Congress governments of completely failing to conduct even a single competitive examination properly, alleging that their mismanagement has deeply affected lakhs of unemployed youth in Telangana.
He said the inability to organise transparent and fair recruitment exams had led to widespread frustration and dashed hopes among aspirants. According to him, the state’s unemployed population has repeatedly faced betrayal due to administrative lapses.
Recently, a delegation of Group 1 candidates met Bandi Sanjay to express their gratitude for his past support during their legal and public protests.
Group 1 exam failure prompts legal action and political fallout
The meeting followed a major ruling by the Telangana High Court, which cancelled the Group 1 results released on March 10 and the general ranking list published on March 30. The court instructed authorities to either re-evaluate the mains answer scripts or completely cancel and reconduct the mains examination.
In the wake of this decision, several aspirants approached Bandi Sanjay, seeking his continued backing in their fight for justice. They highlighted his earlier involvement and assistance during their struggle when the exam process had first come under question.
Bandi Sanjay assured the candidates that the BJP would not withdraw from the issue and would continue all necessary legal efforts to protect the rights of unemployed youth. He reiterated that both current and previous governments had let down the aspirants by repeatedly failing to uphold merit and transparency in recruitment processes.
TGPSC Group-1 aspirants came and met following the High Court’s direction, expressing gratitude for support in their fight.
