Cut ties with Maoist network or face exposure, warns Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay has warned those allegedly backing armed Maoist networks under the guise of democracy to sever ties immediately or face public exposure.

Referring to recent national media reports, Sanjay posted on X that surrendered Maoist leader Mallojula Venugopal, alias Bhupathi, had revealed covert links between Maoist factions and some Telangana political leaders. He also cited reports that top Maoist commander Hidma had moved towards Telangana, as disclosed by a close aide to the police.

Sanjay warned that individuals protecting corruption, crime, or extremist ties would face relentless action from central agencies. He said this would be done under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
