Hyderabad: A speeding car triggered panic in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills on Sunday. The vehicle jumped the footpath near KBR Park and slammed into the boundary wall, injuring five people inside. No deaths were reported.
Police said the driver lost control due to overspeeding. The impact destroyed part of the park wall. Bystanders said the car was moving dangerously fast, forcing people nearby to run for safety.
Officers arrived quickly, detained all five occupants, and took the car into custody. They blamed the crash on reckless driving.
Traffic slowed down briefly but returned to normal soon after. Police have filed a case and launched a full investigation.
Officials warned drivers to avoid speeding in city areas and said strict action will follow any violations.
