HYDERABAD: The Government of Telangana is set to host the Bharat Summit 2025 on April 25 and 26 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). Marking the 70th anniversary of the historic Bandung Conference, which laid the foundation for the Non-Aligned Movement, this high-level summit is themed “Delivering Global Justice”.
The event is expected to attract over 450 delegates from more than 100 countries, including corporate leaders, ministers, global policymakers, academics, civil society representatives, and members of 25 international think tanks.
Speaking ahead of the event, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his pride in Hyderabad being chosen as the host city. “We are proud to host one of the most significant summits of the year—the Bharat Summit. Bringing together over 450 delegates from more than 100 countries under one roof in our vibrant city of Hyderabad is a matter of great pride,” he said.
He added, “This summit is a progressive step toward honouring India’s legacy in championing global peace and justice. It brings together leading international think tanks and thought leaders from various fields, offering a renewed perspective on global challenges. This is a defining moment for Telangana, placing us at the forefront of the movement for delivering global justice.”
The two-day summit will feature keynote addresses and panel discussions led by global figures from politics, academia, and diplomacy. Key themes include economic justice, climate justice, pluralism, diversity, and multilateralism, with sessions aimed at advancing global equity, cooperation, and sustainable development.
The Bharat Summit 2025 not only reflects India’s enduring role in international diplomacy but also places Hyderabad at the centre of a global conversation on justice and equity in the 21st century.
