Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday held an extensive campaign in Yusufguda, Madhuranagar, and Moosapet in support of Congress candidate Naveen Yadav for the Jubilee Hills by-election.
During the campaign, Vikramarka interacted with local fruit vendors and listened to their concerns. He assured voters that the Congress government was committed to development, justice, and equality in Jubilee Hills. He said the Congress was the only party capable of fulfilling public aspirations and delivering on promises.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud, ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Tummala Nageshwar Rao, and Vakkati Srihari, along with former minister Shabbir Ali, several MLAs, corporation chairpersons, and party leaders also joined the campaign.
The ruling Congress is moving ahead with a multi-pronged strategy to secure victory in the Jubilee Hills bypoll. The party is focusing on consolidating the Backward Classes (BC) vote bank, which forms a significant portion of the electorate.
Polling for the Jubilee Hills by-election will take place on November 11.
