Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka made an unscheduled visit to the house of his childhood friend, Dr. Ravinder Reddy, during a tour of Tandur constituency in Vikarabad district on Tuesday.
In Juntupalli village of Yalal mandal, Bhatti halted his convoy and walked into the home where he spent part of his early years. Setting aside protocol and the entourage of MLAs and MLCs accompanying him, he spent time with Reddy’s family, checking on each member’s well-being and recalling shared childhood memories.
The Deputy CM toured each room of the house, recounting his schooldays and the years he lived in the village. The visit left Reddy’s family visibly emotional. Despite his current responsibilities, Bhatti’s decision to pause his official schedule underscored what family members described as his enduring loyalty to personal bonds.
During the interaction, the family brought up pending development works at the local Sitarama Chandra Swamy temple. Bhatti instructed the concerned officials to take up the necessary work without delay.
