HYDERABAD: Serious allegations of illegal land grabbing have been levelled against BJP leader and former Golnaka Division President, Mula Ravinder Goud, a close associate of Union Minister Kishan Reddy. The incident reportedly occurred in the Qadri Bagh area of Golnaka division, under the Amberpet Assembly constituency.
According to the complainant, Vinay, Ravinder Goud forcibly erected a shed on his 80-square-yard plot of land around 2 a.m. in the middle of the night. When Vinay and his family objected and questioned the unauthorised occupation of their property, Goud allegedly sent more than 50 of his supporters to their house, where the family members were reportedly assaulted.
The affected family has claimed not only a forceful encroachment on their property but also a physical attack. They alleged that Ravinder Goud is misusing his influence by presenting himself as a BJP corporator candidate.
The family has called upon Union Minister Kishan Reddy to intervene immediately and ensure justice is served. They have also demanded that the party leadership suspend Ravinder Goud from the BJP without delay. Expressing deep anger over the incident, they warned that they would be compelled to launch a protest if strict action is not taken at the highest level.
This incident has surfaced at a time when the BJP’s image and internal discipline in the city are already under scrutiny. As of now, there has been no official response from either the police or the party.
It is not the first time that concerns have been raised about individuals allegedly using the BJP’s name to exert undue influence over the public.
