HYDERABAD: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Goshamahal, Raja Singh, has stirred controversy by alleging that some senior BJP leaders have been engaging in secret discussions with the Chief Minister of Telangana.
In a recent video message, Singh expressed concerns about internal dynamics within the BJP, warning that such backdoor dealings could weaken the party’s position in the state. He stressed that if the BJP aims to come to power in Telangana and protect Hindu interests, addressing internal challenges is crucial.
Singh suggested that the party leadership should consider retiring certain longstanding members to bring in new strategies and leadership. He criticized the BJP’s recent appointments in district leadership, stating that despite his recommendations for candidates from Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, the party selected individuals allegedly linked to rival political groups.
These revelations have sparked discussions within political circles, highlighting possible internal divisions in the BJP’s Telangana unit. Singh’s statements reflect growing dissatisfaction and suggest a need for restructuring within the party to strengthen its presence in the state.
