Hyderabad: BJP Telangana president Ramachander Rao called on party workers to commit to bringing the party to power in the state, accusing the Congress government of betraying public trust and failing on key promises.
Addressing a felicitation meeting at Choutuppal during his tour of the erstwhile Nalgonda district, Rao received a rousing welcome from party cadre.
He accused the Congress administration of pursuing anti-people policies, citing farmer suicides and delays in releasing fee reimbursement as signs of governance failure. “People are regretting their decision to elect Congress,” he said.
Rao claimed only a BJP government could usher in a “golden era” in Telangana, asserting that development was possible only under a “double engine” regime.
He criticised both the previous BRS and current Congress governments as corrupt and incompetent, stating that the people were now turning to BJP as the only viable alternative.
