BRS-BJP secret deal behind BJP’s MLC election victory: Mallu Ravi

HYDERABAD: Senior Congress leader and Nagarkurnool MP Dr Mallu Ravi has alleged that the BJP’s victory in the recent MLC elections for teachers’ and graduate constituencies was the result of a secret political deal with BRS. He claimed that Congress’s vote bank remained intact despite the outcome.

Mallu Ravi accused BRS of large-scale corruption over the past decade, stating that the KCR family’s involvement in multiple cases had forced them into an understanding with the BJP to protect their interests.

He asserted that this quid pro quo arrangement between BRS and BJP had been in place since before the last Parliament elections. As a result, BJP managed to win 8 Lok Sabha seats due to BRS’s backdoor support.

BRS Deliberately Helped BJP Win MLC Elections

Mallu Ravi pointed out that despite having 22 MLAs in the MLC election constituencies, BRS chose not to contest, indirectly paving the way for BJP’s victory.

He dismissed the BJP’s win as a temporary success, stating that it had no impact on the upcoming elections. He emphasised that Congress remains strong and will counter these political manipulations in future electoral battles.
