Hyderabad, January 29: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader RS Praveen Kumar has condemned Congress MLA Makkan Singh for allegedly referring to ACP Jhony Narsimhulu as “crazy.”
Praveen Kumar highlighted ACP Narsimhulu’s dedication and bravery, noting his significant contributions to the police department. He expressed concern that, despite his integrity, Narsimhulu had not received accelerated promotions, possibly due to his Scheduled Caste background. In contrast, others had allegedly secured such promotions through less honourable means.
He criticised the Congress MLA’s actions, labelling them as criminal, and called for legal action against Singh and his associates for allegedly assaulting the ACP. Praveen Kumar also urged the suspension of fellow officers who attempted to downplay the incident, emphasising that such individuals should not have a place in the department.
He encouraged Telangana police officers to draw inspiration from ACP Narsimhulu’s example, asserting that honest and lawful duty would earn them public support. He dismissed figures like Revanth and Makkan as “paper tigers,” confident that the courts would hold them accountable.
