Hyderabad: A delegation of senior BRS leaders departed for Delhi to attend a key meeting with the Election Commission of India scheduled for 3 PM today.
Led by BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, the delegation includes Rajya Sabha MPs K.R. Suresh Reddy and Vaddiraju Ravichandra, along with former MPs B. Vinod Kumar and Balka Suman. Former IPS officer R.S. Praveen Kumar also joined the team.
The group is expected to engage with ECI officials on electoral reforms, issues related to the Model Code of Conduct, and multiple representations the party has already submitted to the Commission.
The meeting comes as part of the ECI’s ongoing consultations with political parties on election processes and potential changes to regulatory frameworks.
