Hyderabad: BRS leaders paid rich tributes to Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud on his birth anniversary, calling him a symbol of Bahujan pride and resistance. Working president K.T. Rama Rao, senior leader T. Harish Rao, and MLC K. Kavitha were among those who honoured his legacy.
K.T. Rama Rao described Papanna Goud as a warrior who devoted his life to defending oppressed communities. On the social media platform X, he said Papanna resisted tyranny and championed the uplift of marginalised sections. He added that Telangana feels proud to have birthed such a revolutionary figure. Furthermore, he noted that the BRS government under K. Chandrashekar Rao had decided to officially observe Papanna’s birth and death anniversaries.
