HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has strongly countered Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s assertions regarding the improbability of by-elections in Telangana. Speaking at the Assembly media point today, Kaushik Reddy expressed confidence that by-elections are certain to occur in the state.
He emphasized his trust in the Supreme Court, stating that a verdict against party-switching MLAs is guaranteed. Kaushik Reddy also demanded the banning of Minister Ponguleti Raghava’s construction company.
Highlighting the contributions of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) to farmers’ welfare, Kaushik Reddy remarked that law and order were well-maintained during KCR’s tenure. In contrast, he criticized the current administration under Revanth Reddy, alleging a deterioration in public safety.
Referring to the recent MLC elections, Kaushik Reddy noted that the public had delivered a lesson to the Congress party and predicted further setbacks for them in upcoming local body elections. He urged CM Revanth Reddy to cease criticizing KCR, K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), and T. Harish Rao, warning that such actions would not be tolerated.
