Hyderabad: BRS MLC P. Rajeshwar Reddy was rushed to Hyderabad’s Yashoda Hospital on Tuesday night after he suffered a fall at former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s farmhouse in Erravalli, sources said.
According to party insiders, Rajeshwar Reddy, who had reached the farmhouse along with former minister T. Harish Rao to meet KCR ahead of his appearance before the Kaleshwaram Commission, stayed the night at the residence.
Late at night, he reportedly slipped and fell in the bathroom, resulting in a fracture. Quick-thinking staff at the farmhouse arranged for his immediate transfer to Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda. Doctors have begun preliminary treatment, and sources indicated that surgery might be required.
Medical reports suggest that Rajeshwar Reddy has sustained a fracture to his hip bone.
