Hyderabad: Following the grand public meeting in Elkathurthi, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is set to take its silver jubilee celebrations across the globe, starting with a major event in Dallas, USA, on June 1. The announcement was made by Mahesh Bigala, the party’s Global NRI Coordinator, who said the celebrations would reflect the pride and progress of Telangana.
The Dallas event, scheduled to take place at the Pepper Arena, will be held with much fanfare. The party’s working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has been invited as the chief guest for the occasion. Bigala stated that these international events will serve as an extension of the successful Elkathurthi meeting, which he described as a historic moment in BRS’s journey.
Tanneeru Mahesh, Chairman of the BRS USA Advisory Board, also noted that entering its 25th year is a matter of pride not just for the party but for the people of Telangana. He said that meticulous planning is underway to ensure the Dallas celebrations are a success, including cultural showcases that will highlight the vibrancy and heritage of Telangana.
According to organisers, BRS will host similar events in various countries throughout the year, aiming to strengthen its global connect with the Telangana diaspora and celebrate the party’s legacy and milestones.
