HYDERABAD, February 8: The Delhi Assembly election results were announced today, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) securing a significant victory. The BJP has won 29 seats and is leading in 19 others, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has won 13 seats and is leading in 9. Notably, the Congress party did not secure any seats.
In response to these results, leaders from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) have openly criticised the Congress party. BRS Working President and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) took to the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) to comment, stating, “Congratulations to Rahul Gandhi for helping BJP win.” This tweet has garnered significant attention on social media.
Former minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao also commented on the Congress party’s performance, stating that the people of Delhi have given a clear verdict against the Congress. He suggested that the Congress party’s decline is evident, citing instances in Telangana and Karnataka where the party allegedly misled the public. He further mentioned that the public has rejected the Congress in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Delhi elections. Rao also claimed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi does not trust Revanth Reddy and predicted that the upcoming local elections in Telangana will yield similar results. He advised Revanth Reddy to refrain from making false promises, noting that despite claims of fulfilling election promises, not a single village has seen complete implementation.
Rao concluded by stating that the Congress party is synonymous with falsehoods and that its governance lacks substance.
