HYDERABAD: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has formally requested the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGRTC) to provide 3,000 buses for transporting party workers and supporters to its upcoming silver jubilee celebrations, scheduled for 27 April at Elkathurthy in Hanamkonda district.
In a letter addressed to TGRTC Managing Director V.C. Sajjanar, BRS General Secretary and former MP A. Chandrasekhar Reddy confirmed the party’s transport requirement for the event, which is being held under the leadership of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
To facilitate the arrangements, Chandrashekhar Reddy also handed over a cheque of ₹8 crore as an advance payment towards transportation expenses. He urged the TGRTC management to direct the relevant officials to initiate the necessary preparations at the earliest to ensure smooth logistics for the large-scale gathering.
