HYDERABAD: BJP leader Bura Narsaiah Goud strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his recent remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Goud alleged that Revanth Reddy was speaking with caste arrogance and warned that challenging Modi would lead to political downfall.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Goud remarked, “Whether Revanth stands in Modi’s way or Modi stands in Revanth’s way, the ultimate loser will be Revanth himself.” He further stated that the Chief Minister’s comments reflected a sense of caste-based superiority, which he claimed would not be accepted by the people.
Goud also took a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, referring to him as an “Illegally Converted Gandhi,” hinting at his political lineage. He warned that confronting Modi would politically weaken Revanth Reddy and urged the Chief Minister to reconsider his stance.
The remarks have sparked debate in political circles, with BJP and Congress leaders exchanging sharp words over the issue.
