Hyderabad: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) postponed the CA exams for May 2025 across the country amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
The exams that were planned between 2 to 14 May might have been postponed. The institute issued a public notice confirming the deferment of CA Intermediate, Final, and Post-qualification papers that were earlier set to be held between 9 and 14 May. The new dates will be intimated soon, ICAI informed in its notice.
Applicants who have registered for the exams have been requested to check the official website for updates.
As per the original plan, Group 1 Intermediate exams were to be held on 3rd, 5th, and 7th May, and Group 2 papers on 9th, 11th, and 14th May. Final Group 1 exams were initially planned on 2nd, 4th, and 6th May, followed by Group 2 on 8th, 10th, and 13th May.
Intermediate exams would be conducted between 2 pm and 5 pm. Final papers 1 to 5 would also be conducted within the same afternoon time slot, while Paper 6 would be allocated an extended time slot between 2 pm and 6 pm.
