Hyderabad: A free cancer screening camp will be conducted at the CGHS Wellness Centre, CGO Towers, Kavadiguda, on September 24 under the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan. The camp will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Focus on breast and cervical cancers
The medical team, led by Consultant Radiation Oncologist Dr. Jyothi Jonnadula, will conduct screenings for breast and cervical cancers. Women of all age groups are encouraged to participate and make use of the free preventive healthcare services.
Nationwide campaign for women’s health
The Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is being observed across the country from September 17 to October 2, 2025. The campaign aims to promote women’s health, encourage preventive screenings, and spread awareness about healthy lifestyles for stronger families.
