Hyderabad: Banjara Hills police have registered a case against two senior BRS leaders for obstructing police in the discharge of their duties. Former Speaker Madhusudhan Chary and ex-MP Balka Suman were among those booked.
The police had gone to Telangana Bhavan to arrest BRS leader G. Srinivas Yadav, who is accused of attacking a news channel crew. During the operation, other BRS leaders allegedly tried to prevent officers from taking him into custody.
Treating this as an obstruction, the Banjara Hills police took suo motu action and registered a case.
