Hyderabad: Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy on Saturday reviewed the state-wide preparations for the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana. He conducted a video conference with District Election Officers, Collectors, and Electoral Registration Officers to assess readiness across all districts.
The CEO instructed officials to complete all pending tasks, including the table-top exercise on the revision, within the scheduled deadlines. He emphasised monitoring progress at both Assembly Constituency and Polling Station levels to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
Next review meeting scheduled for November 1
Sudharshan Reddy announced that the next review session would be held on November 1 to evaluate updated progress and address any outstanding issues. Additional CEO Lokesh Kumar, Deputy CEO Hari Singh, and other senior officials attended the review meeting.
Earlier this week, Sudharshan Reddy had participated in a two-day national conference in New Delhi led by the Chief Election Commissioner. The event focused on improving electoral roll management, enhancing voter service delivery, and leveraging technology for electoral processes.
